The painting depicts God’s heart for the Great State of Mississippi. In the past, Mississippi has been known for being the “last” in many areas. But God said, “The last shall be first and the first shall be last”.
I see the Mississippi River like a tree. The tree over Mississippi is an oak tree, for Mississippi is an “oak of righteousness”. This tree has many acorns. The acorns are the seeds of multiplication that will be reproducing many forests of “oaks” leaving a legacy for future generations. The leaves are healing that will be produced and released to the nation(s).
The 9 stalks of wheat coming out of Mississippi are the fruitful harvest. The 2 larger stalks off to the side make 11 for the transition and change of our state.
The state is highlighted in white flames for the purifying fire of love God is releasing. Mississippi will be burning with an awakening revival.
He is the “Father of lights”. There are 12 lights for the establishment of God’s government in Mississippi. The lights are in a circle for the unity of the Body of Christ coming together as one. Our lights individually are bright, but together we illuminate the entire state and the darkness will flee. The lights are also in the form of a clock, because it is God’s “time for Mississippi”.
The state is green with life, health, healing, and prosperity coming for Mississippi.
