Lily Among Thorns
I heard the Lord say you are a “lily among thorns”. A lily is humility, devotion, and purity. A lily represents intercession and prayer needed to walk through difficult situations. The Lord says you are beautiful and delicate in I world full of darkness, irritation and pain. You're able to see the beauty surrounding you as you walk through dark, difficult and trying times of life. God is with you and guiding you. You are surrounded with His care and intervention.
Humility and purity are very important to you. You tend to check your heart and your motives regularly to be sure that there's nothing hindering your relationship with the Lord. I hear the Lord say "Clean hands and a pure heart."
You are a watchman. As you pray in the Spirit, it causes you to feel close and very connected to Him. He then gives you His heart to know how to pray. As an intercessor you stand in the gap for others and speak forth the will of God into the Earth.
The Father is heart is very tender towards you and He is very protective of you. The Lord takes the thorns of the enemy and turns them for His purposes and Glory. Just as the crown of thorns upon Jesus's head was meant for evil, and yet it brought such beauty and glory to the world. The crown of thorns turned into a kingdom ruling crown. This is the case with you. The Lord turns what the enemy means for evil into His good purposes. (Romans 8:28) The Lord takes great pleasure in you.
"The joy of the Lord is your strength." Nehemiah 8:10
“Like a lily among the thorns, So is my darling among the maidens.”
Song of Solomon 2:2
“My beloved responded and said to me, ‘Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, and come along. For behold, the winter is past. The rain is over and gone. The flowers have already appeared in the land; The time has arrived for pruning the vines, And the voice of the turtledove has been heard in our land. The fig tree has ripened its figs, And the vines in blossom have given forth their fragrance. Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, And come along!’ ” “O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, In the secret place of the steep pathway, let me see your form, let me hear your voice; For your voice is sweet, nd your form is lovely.” “Catch the foxes for us, the little foxes that are ruining the vineyards, while our vineyards are in blossom.” Song of Solomon 2:10-15
