Wheat and Heather
"Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting. He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed, shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him." Psalms 126:5-6
I heard the Lord say, "Your fragrance brings me joy."
The Lord sees and recognizes every seed that has been sown whether in faith, words, deeds, finances, or tears. The Father has seen every single one of your sacrificial love offerings to Him, and it is a sweet fragrance to His nostrils.
The Lord has seen every struggle you have gone through. And yet not one instance is wasted. He is a just and faithful God. He has been with you through every battle, and in Him you will remain. He is faithful to complete everything He has promised to you. The Lord is the director of your steps and He will guide your every decision. "For you will go out with joy be led forth with peace;" Isaiah 55:12
Wheat is harvest, abundance, and blessing. The heather flower is perseverance. It is known for its hardiness, strength, and the ability to survive and thrive in harsh conditions (such as rocky soil, extreme temperatures, and volatile weather).
"So, rejoice, O sons of Zion, and be glad in the Lord your God; For He has given you the early rain for your vindication. And He has poured down for you the rain, The early and latter rain as before. The threshing floors will be full of grain, And the vats will overflow with the new wine and oil. 'Then I will make up to you for the years That the swarming locust has eaten, The creeping locust, the stripping locust and the gnawing locust. You will have plenty to eat and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; Then My people will never be put to shame.'" Joel 2:23-26
