Scroll Bound in Gold
I hear “Wrapped in the arms of your Beloved”. The Hebrew word for wait means to tie together, bind together, wrap tightly, entwine. As you have “waited” on the Lord, He has bound Himself to you. He has marked you with His calling and purpose. He has entwined His heart and desires with yours. It is difficult to determine where you end and He begins. You have become one with Him.
I see a scroll wrapped in a golden cord. Through the fire, the refiner has produced in you a golden thread. Gold is praise, holiness, and glory. It reminds me of the gold in the ephod that was hammered out and then cut to be woven into the fine twisted linen (Ex. 39:1-3). The humility, time, and cost required is like price you pay for the anointing of the Holy Spirit. It is not always easy, convenient, or comfortable, and even sometimes painful, but the end result has been so beautifully worth it. The scroll is the Word of the Lord that is in your mouth. You have tasted and seen that the Lord is good and you eat the scroll so that you have the now of heaven to feed the people. The word that you release brings life, restoration, and healing to the earth. The Lord has given you eyes to see, and ears to hear what He is saying to the Body of Christ. He is opening new doors for you in this new season to open the scrolls and release His Hope wherever you go.
“The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, the world, and those who dwell in it. For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart.” Psalms 24:1-4
