- Ascend the Mountain
Ascend the Mountain
“Get your hopes up! Lift your head up! Let faith arise.” Those that “wait” on the Lord will gain new strength and rise up like an eagle. To “wait” is to have expectant hope that comes from abiding in the Lord. He is wanting to be so entwined with us, that we are one with Him. Lift up your head o gates! Ascend in the spirit and see the God of your salvation. See and hear from His perspective. Arise and shine and be kindled with the fire glory of the Lord.
“Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood and has not sworn deceitfully. He shall receive a blessing from the Lord And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face—even Jacob. Selah. Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, O ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in!” Psalms 24:3-7
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.” Isaiah 40:28-31
