- Sword on the Altar
Sword on the Altar
I see a scroll unfurling and a sword laying on the altar. The Lord is opening up the words of life that He has deposited in you. You are His warrior. He has placed warfare inside of you. You carry a large sword, which is His word. You are a worshiper and an intercessor. He is forging you in the fire to refine and purify you. The enemy is warring for your worship. Lay yourself on the altar of the Most High. Prayer and intercession are where you prepare for battle. You are unique and different and the Lord takes great pleasure in that. He desires for you to enjoy the His company. He longs for your attention. Hunger for the scroll. Ask the Lord to increase your desire for His Word. As you read the word of God the Lord will open it up to you greater dimensions of revelation. As you dream and see things in the spirit, ask the Lord to unpack them for you. Ask for wisdom and understanding. As you step out, the Lord will guide your next. He has you in his hands. He is guarding, keeping, and guiding you. The Lord is setting you ablaze for His purposes and for His glory.
“Therefore, I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:1-2
“For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
Hebrews 4:12
