- Shining Crown
Shining Crown
You are a good listener and a good friend. You are an exhorter. You are kind and compassionate and want to see others whole, healthy, and see them reach their full potential. He has gifted you with grace and a drive to “shine”. You don’t mind being in the spotlight with all eyes upon you. You know that the Lord is your helper and the source of your strength. You will not shrink back from opposition, nor shy away from adversity. You have an inner strength and discipline that causes you to press through and persevere. You are willing to pay the price to see your dreams come true and desire to help others fulfill theirs as well. You are a rising light that reflects the beauty and glory of the Lord; a shining light of the Lord for all the world to see.
““You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16
“The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; And you will be called by a new name which the mouth of the Lord will designate. You will also be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord And a royal diadem in the hand of your God.” Isaiah 62:2-3
“Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.”
Isaiah 60:1
“Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. Therefore, I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air; but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.” 1 Corinthians 9:24-27
