My Cup Overflows (Psalm 23)
We are in the Hebraic year 5783. It’s a year of divine recovery. There’s a recovery of finances, relationships, dreams, and ministry. This is a “Birthing year”. Where you felt like you have been “on pause”, I saw the Lord, hitting the “play button”. Then when you started moving, it was like you were on fast forward. Where you have felt like there has been delay by the enemy, the Lord will catch you up.
There are going to be some things in the world that are going to be darker and more difficult. But as you put your trust in the Lord and keep your eyes on Him, you will find yourself living in the land of Goshen. Remember the family of God is a safe place.
I keep hearing “Faithful and True” (Revelation 21:5-7).
The Lord wants you to remember He is FAITHFUL and TRUE! Walk by faith, and not by sight. Walk according to what you know, not by what you see.
This is a Psalm 23 year.
“The Lord is my Shepherd; I will not be in need.”
This year you are going to see the supernatural provision of the Lord. You need to look for it. You need to expect it. You need to be in Faith for it. Yahweh is Jehovah Jireh! (Philippians 4:19)
“He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. (Lit. Waters of rest.)”
Because things will be moving quickly this year, you need to really understand the rest of the Lord. Be intentional to enter into His rest. (Matthew 11:28-30)
“He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for the sake of His name.”
You need to take time and let the Lord restore your soul. (Proverbs 3:5-6) He makes the crooked places straight. As the Lord reveals things to you, deal with them. As past wounds resurface, let the Lord heal and restore you. As old habits rise up, repent and turn away from them. Use the fruit of the spirit, self-control. (Acts 3:19)
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death (lit. valley of deep darkness), I fear no evil (lit. harm), for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
The rod and staff of the Lord are for your safety and protection. His staff is His authority. You should not fear but be comforted knowing that the Good Shepherd is with you and is looking out for you (Isaiah 43:1-20). Your Daddy carries a big stick! Also, the rod represents miracles (like Moses’ rod). This year you will see the supernatural manifest in your midst. The Lord is looking for those that will extend their hands to heal.
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;”
You will live in the land of Goshen and feast at the Lord’s table.
““No weapon that is formed against you will succeed, And you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord.” Isaiah 54:17
“You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.”
You have been anointed! You need to allow the anointing to flow continually from you this year in your family, your business/workplace, in public, and in your gatherings! (Isaiah 61:1-2)
“Certainly (only) goodness and faithfulness will follow me all the days of my life, and my dwelling will be in the house of the Lord forever.”
You are blessed and highly favored! The Lord has put His seal upon you and marked you for Himself. (Isaiah 54:10)
