- Power of the Resurrection
Power of the Resurrection
I saw the stone rolling away and glory coming out the cave. I heard the word Gilgal. The word Gilgal in Hebrew means “circle of stones” or “rolling”. The Lord is rolling away a stone in your life.
Joshua 5:9 says, “Today I have rolled away the reproach/shame from you.”
The stone represents guilt, shame, condemnation, and your past life (Egypt). Egypt also represents the slavery mindset. We have to die to some things in order to live, even our old ways of thinking. To repent is to change the way we think. We have to die to ourselves and our old sin nature and live as a new creation in Christ.
The stone rolled away is resurrection.
I see the Lord resurrecting you and some things in your life. Out grave comes the beautiful glory that came out of death. It’s beauty for ashes. The stone also represents the obstacles in your life. Places where the enemy thought he had defeated you.
For Jesus, the stone represented the finished work of the cross. Victory! Because He died, He is alive! Because He is alive, we can live!
“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
Romans 8:28
“And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.” Revelation 12:11
Gilgal-Circle of stones, rolling
He Rolled away the reproach of Egypt
We have to get the Egypt out of us.
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord has anointed me To bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to captives And freedom to prisoners; To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
Isaiah 61:1-3
“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:19
“These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”” John 16:33
