REST (He Restores Every Single Thing)
R.E.S.T. It is an acronym for He Restores Every Single Thing. Psalm 23: He restores every single thing. So if there’s something in your life that’s not looking like heaven, then that’s a good opportunity for you to declare His word over that thing. Because He Restores Every Single Thing. As I started painting, I saw green pastures and the quiet River flowing. Then I began to see the River taking off as if in flight, and it appeared as if coming out of heaven. I was almost like birds were just carrying it. Then I started painting the grass, and I began to see butterflies come to life. Because when the Lord restores something, there’s new life to it. It’s a new beginning. It’s restoration. It’s transformation. That’s part of our call of redemption, to redeem the land. The redemption is to Restore Every Single Thing, and allow Him to Restore Every Single Thing through us as we partner with Him.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I will not be in need. He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For the sake of His name. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. Certainly, goodness and faithfulness will follow me all the days of my life, and my dwelling will be in the house of the Lord forever.”
Psalm 23:1-6
